• All card games have unique history that rolls down the centuries beyond the days of history itself, unfortunately not always can historians and researchers discover the full trace of a game, such is the case of blackjack, which eludes scholars till these days.
  Blackjack is one of the oldest card games. Similar games were very popular in France during the 18th century. One of the most popular versions was called simply 21. Blackjack migrated to America with the French colonists and traveled across the country on riverboats. Actually it was only in the 20th century Vegas that blackjack received its name. When the state of Nevada has legalized gambling, Vegas has turned into the gambling capital of the world and casinos have began importing more and more new games into their gambling halls. To draw more attention to the game a special bonus was added to the game. Any hand that has the ace of spades and any of the black jacks in the deck (either spades or clubs) would pay 10 to 1 on the players bet. Somehow the name blackjack has stuck to the game long after casinos have stopped giving this special bonus. Today, 70 years after the introduction of blackjack to the world of casino gambling, blackjack is one of the most popular games in online and land based casinos.

# Soft Hand: A hand that contains an Ace counted as 11 is called a Soft Hand.

• # By rule, on counts of 17 or higher the dealer must stay; on counts of 16 or lower the dealer must draw.
  

There are special rules for playing at ent!get as listed below:

Pair splitting
split the initial two-card hand into two and play them separately - allowed only when the two first cards are of equal value. Use each card as the start to a separate hand and place a second bet equal to the first. A pair of aces can be spirited but after splitting them you may hit only once
Even when you receive, 10,J,Q,or K after splitting aces, it won’t be accounted as Black Jack. In this case, pay will be 1-to-1.
Getting Ace after spiriting 10,J,Q,or K, it will be Blackjack and payout will be 2-to-3, unless the Dealer also has Blackjack, in which case it's a push (bet neither paid nor taken).

Doubling down
Players are allowed to  double the bets and receive the 3rd card, however, is not allowed to hit more than that.

• Players can double down regardless their hands.

Insurance
side bet up to half the initial bet against the dealer having a natural 21 - allowed only when the dealer's showing card is an Ace. If the dealer has a 10 face down and makes a blackjack, insurance pays at 2-1 odds, but loses if the dealer does not.
